Food review of the Week

looks like i havent bloged in a bit...here's a food review...actually...2 la.

Remember Thymes? They have a set lunch menu now.

1.Black Pepper chicken with rice
2.Lemon Chicken with rice
3.Mayo Chicken with rice.

I only had the first one so i'll be covering that.

in case i took the pic in the wrong direction...thats chicken on the top, and rice with raisins on top as well as some salad.

ok... on to the review

chicken was good...well done...tender and juicy.
rice...i shall not comment on. personal opinion.

oh...there was soup too...some carrot and donno wad stock soup.

the food was ok...and the set meal comes with a cup or wither tea or coffee....the price...RM 6. its worth it la in my opinion...but ive been growing myself an apptite so i cannot really comment on whether it was filling or not.

Next one: Tom Yam Pork.

Place: King Centre. King Centre.
Look for the laksa stall...its next to it. and look for the shanghai noodle/dim sum place.

Its manned by a thai lady who speaks english and her fren who can speak mandarin. Pretty easy to find...considering the colourful poster.

If you still cannot find it, gimmie a call. IF you dont have my number just mail me.

If you still cannot find it...go Lok Thian and have yourself a higher class and more expensive as well as more unh...halal tom yam.

its tom yam with pork instead of the usual prawns and seafood. the two rectangular yellow thingys you see are dried pork rind...and the round things are *gasp* NOT pig's testicles...those are fish balls.

Ok...the tom yam comes with a small dish taht ahs a lime and some tomyam paste and cili padi. Thats for the kicks...

The tom yam was spicy and sour enough its very fragrant. The pork...lean...almost fatless...if you're hungry for tom yam or wad...go for this...if you prefer sweet and not so hot...go for the seafood ones....its fresh prawns...

The price is around 4.50 per bowl

Ok...im losing my touch...but hey...refreshing mar...
